Strange, maybe, swollen toe?

Hi!
Hamish’s middle toe suddenly doesn’t look like the rest. He seems to be walking ok on it, and going about his normal day. I just don’t think it looks normal, perhaps even swollen.
Any ideas, or are we in for a vet trip?

That does look swollen. If it were me, I would get it checked out. Though not as an emergency.

Vet said all ok, no pain(we knew that bit!) and no infection. He still has movement in his toe joint. Possibly caught on something-in which case swelling will go down, or arthritis- swelling wont go down.
Joked after I got home that entering the travel case is like entering the wardrobe to Narnia. The guinea pigs never quite know where they will end up! They entered happily probably assuming it was lawn time.
