I have two male Guinea pigs both about 3 or 4 years old. Both of started biting there feet, scratching there nose, ears, and the ball of there feet are red. can you help?

It would be best for you to see a vet. We cannot diagnose what the issues with your piggies might be as we are not vets but also because we cannot see your piggies.

If you could a diagnosis of their issues by a vet, then we can support you from then on.

Hi

You are likely dealing with either skin parasites or a fungal skin infection which need different treatment. Without access to your piggies we cannot tell. Please stay off low dosed and ineffective pet store treatments on spec. You'll have spend a lot of money at the store before you have to see a vet with an advanced case anyway.

More information via this link here. New piggy problems: URI - ringworm - skin parasites

Hello and welcome to the forum. It’s sounds like mites or fungal. Definitely see a vet for the proper diagnosis and treatment. It will save you money if you nip it in the bud quickly. Good luck.
