Storage for dry guinea pig food

Hi there,

Is it safe to put dry guinea pig food in plastic containers? I thought I read somewhere previously that you shouldn’t but trying to find a better storage solutions than all the bags I have around the house! Thank you.

I’ve always stored my dry guinea pig food in a plastic container and never had any issues I use a cereal container for mine

I keep mine in the bag it comes in but then put the bag into a plastic storage container
