My two girls spend a lot of time hiding inside their pigloo and hence the ridiculous amount of poo and pee that ends up soiling the floor beneath it. I have cut out a coroplast base and put it underneath the pigloo with a little towel on top, but that gets smelly and requires washing after one day. I’m currently trialing the use of a puppy pad with a layer of fleece on top, but I’ve got a feeling that isn’t going to work either…

What do you guys do to keep the floor under your pigloos smelling fresh and clean?

I just have a small piece of fleece or baby blanket that I use as a bedding for him. Every time I "clean" out the droppings I shake the blanket out for grass and make sure he did not pee on it. When I clean the cage I give him a new blanket. Seem to be working fine. My pig is just in a rabbit cage though. And I only have one piggie.

I did notice today that I do have to CLEAN the pigloo soon. As that itslef is getting a bit dirty.
