just watched a tribute to Steve on tv and was blubbing all the way through my eyes are so sore now, what a man a real animal pioneer, bet hes looking down with Pride at his Daughters speech at his memorial, totally amazing man
I received the excursion book for our caribbean cruse last week and are going on a whale and dolphin watch and a glass bottom boat sub type thing to see the ocean bed but my lot chickend out when I said they could swim and feed the sting rays, just realised why! , I was up for it though. it was such a freak accident that killed Steve, would you do it?

I only caught it from the end of Bindi's speech and was in tears for the next 5 minutes until it finished. I was devastated when it all happened although I'm not really sure why it affected me so much.

Your holiday sounds fab, think I'd have chickened out too, we went to the Sealife centre the other week, that was close enough!

and also his little daughter has such confidence!
he was a great guy, and i'm really sad that he's gone. and after all the things he's done for animals and wildlife!

A really good programme, I didn't realise he'd done as much as he had. What a loss. We need someone like that in this country to stick up for animals.

I was really upset with Steve Urwin died, what an awful thing to happen to a very special and loving family.I'm just grateful he did become famous and made the changes he made and his family will carry on with this good work.So sad he died.
