My piggies are currently in a rabbit 100 (I know it's to small). I was just wondering if it's physically possible for them to climb the steps in there as it seems so steep and they haven't even looked at them since we got them Friday.

Guinea pigs don't tend to use steps, especially plastic ones that don't give good grip. I guess you mean those that go up a plastic hidey?

I wouldn't say it is impossible. But very unlikely they would climb up those kinds of steps as their backs are fragile and it would probably hurt to do it. Long steep ramps are much better for piggies.

Yes it's those ones. They look very steep. I am going to get them a bigger cage when I can but for now we're having to make do as I was told that was the size I needed.
