I have been talking about this with the wonderful staff team for a fair while now knowing that, when my family expanded with the arrival of my son, my time would be limited and very much focused elsewhere. I hung around to make sure I could tell the team when my son had arrived but now it's time to step back and let these wonderful people continue doing a fab job in the day to day running of the forum.

I am eternally grateful for this forum which I found very shortly after rescuing two girls from a small local forum (after turning up at the rescue and planning just to have one!). Thankfully the rescue told me that they can't live alone and then the forum was very much instrumental in providing the best care possible for those piggies and all that followed (as well as being directly responsible for me taking on my first ever boar to be neutered). I have no doubt that numerous piggies lived a better life because I found this place all those years ago.

When I was asked to be a part of the staff team I hesitated. I had done so on another forum previously and it had been far from a pleasant experience with a lot of demands on my time and commitments. Then personal issues got in the way but after a little nudge from @sport_billy I finally said yes and the rest... is history.

I am grateful to have been able to give back to the forum over the last few years. I will try to pop by every now and then to check how everyone is doing and get my fill of piggy pictures ☺️
 
Thank you for everything you’ve done for the forum. Enjoy your wonderful family time. They grow up so quickly. I’ll look forward to seeing you around the forum from time to time. And progress pics of the kids too ❤️
 
I really love your input ,you are always honest.i understand you have other commitments, but you will be missed.i still have your lovely piggie.all the best for the future..XX
 
I am going to badly miss you and your Sherlock Holmes worthy nose for smelling trouble and following it right back to where the body was buried. You are an amazing woman.

But you really need the time for your son and your family now; especially after the journey you have had to get there. I sincerely hope that you can really enjoy those precious first years with your two children. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

You have been a delight to have on the team and to work with. The forum has become a better, safer and stronger place with your deft handling of people, always competent input and your wicked sense of humour. I sincerely hope that you will stay in contact.
 
I can still vividly remember meeting you at my first forum meet in Birmingham @Lady Kelly where @sport_billy had a dubious “guinea pig” soft toy so we could identify him at the station.

It’s been an honour & a privilege to work alongside you on the staff team. You’ve been such an asset to the team with your “I smell children” Childcatcher nose and your Miss Marple ability to solve a mystery. But the forum has claimed enough of your time over the years and you now fully deserve your very well earned family time. We are going to miss your common sense approach and wicked sense of humour - please don’t be a stranger xx
 
It’s been great having your on point detective skills helping us out. I understand your need to step away and fully support it. You will be sorely missed but I wish you lots of happy memories with your family. Enjoy and hopefully will see you every now and then on here ☺️
 
It’s your children and family time that has to come first now - I’m a fairly new member but I’ve always enjoyed your sense of humour and admired how you coped with your pregnancy journey and all the pain.
A huge commitment and thank you for everything 🥰

Thank you, pain is always much more manageable when it is time limited and you get something amazing at the end
 
You have been brilliant over the years both as a regular member of the forum and a moderator so thank you.

Oh that has been on the cards for years. As soon as Jessica was born and we made the decision that there would be no more piggies I told hubby that as soon as she started pestering for a pet we would have piggies again 🤣
 
We'll all be sorry to see you go, Kelly, but I know you've helped me out with a couple of things over the years where your input was absolutely invaluable and I genuinely can't thank you enough for it. Can I remember what it was? Course not! I think it was something to do with the eejit who owned this house.

But, whatever. A toast to good health (and a working washing machine)!

Thank you for all your moderating and good advice @Lady Kelly . Very right to take a break now you have all the family responsibilities. Enjoy your little ones, they grow up so fast. Hope to see you around the forum occasionally 😉

Quite simply - Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had the privilege of appointing people I admired on the forum to staff positions and you exceeded very high expectations I had of you when I was looking for strong, fair mods. Thank you for everything, I understand then need to move on. We had the greatest of teams here.

You will really be missed here on the Forum Lady Kelly, especially as one of the staff members. Thank you ever so much for all the hard work helping keep the forum as amazing as it is over the years.
I will look forward to you hopefully popping in from time to time. And will really look forward to the day you kids ask for pet piggies :clap:
