Static mites

I have two guinea pigs and one definitely has static lice, although I'm aware that if one has its likely they both do. I have thrown away their hay and bought new. I've trimmed their hair and have bought Gorgeous Guineas Lice & Easy shampoo. I've done their first round of shampooing as per the instructions but my paler girl, Alice, was so distressed and was struggling so much I was worried she was going to injure herself. Is there a spot on treatment that can be used for static mites? Thanks in advance xx

You need to have your piggies seen by a vet and to be prescribed the correct strength ivermectin treatment course (for each piggy it’s three separate treatments with two weeks between each treatment) dosed by their weights.
