Anyone else’s piggie like to stare into the depths of the void? I capture my elderly lady Oreo on the pet cam doing this a lot. Is it because she’s old? Listening out for the herd? Is she a philosopher? I love her so much my wise old baby

Oreo looks like she has the "lights are on but nobody's home" expression of a sleeping piggy. My Rainbow piggy Cutey Pie Dennis would often have this look when he was fast asleep.

I remember that only too well, I had an 8 year old, a six year old, a newborn and it was the summer holidays!

Older piggies tend to sleep deeper, longer and more often. This is their 'in a galaxy far, far away' deep sleep look. As prey animals they rarely sleep with their eyes closed.

I have had a few times when I needed to check on their flanks whether they were still breathing...

Interesting is one way of putting it! Son No 1 changed from being a lovely boy to a grunting horror who told me to "go away" at the same time as Son No 3 was Lucifer's Child!
