I know a ton of people who buy hay from tractor supply plus which would be the Standlee 50lb bag. Is this okay to use? I have heard lots of mixed reviews on this hay? I currently use it and my girls love it. I know a ton of rescues who use this hay as well. It looks and smells like the hay described by most rescues on youtube. Not sure why it would be any different than any other hay on the market. Especially considering that the other option is pet store hay that's super tough and dry

Which type of Standlee hay is it? I was just looking at their website and I see they have hay for small animals: alfalfa, timothy, and orchard. The orchard and timothy will be fine for adult piggies. I may have to take a look at them; I ordered a 50 lb box of hay from Oxbow (Petco and Amazon deliver that size).
I use the timothy hay they have and I feel like it should be fine as well but some people say they don't like it not sure...
Timothy hay is absolutely fine to be fed to piggies. It’s just not suitable as a bedding hay as it is usually too sharp.
