I bought a new cage liner (it's a fair bit big for their cage but does the job) but Coco being the slop she is has slopped red pepper on it and now there is a lovely red stain all over their brand new liner (and slopped down Coco's white chest fur). They have slopped red pepper all over a couple of their pee pads too and I have not been able to remove the stains with either napisan or stain remover. Does anyone have a magic stain remover technique they would like to share or should I just stop feeding the piggies red pepper, obviously Coco's fav :hb:

i would soak it in hot water with a oxi bleach product eg vanish...a uk brand, leave it for 4 hours and put in washing machine after soaking.piggies will not be bothered if it has a stain on .

Only give peppers in their hay area! Mind you they may just run off with it onto the fleece ...

Look up guinea pig hacks on the internet and watch the video made by Little adventures. There is a recipe in it for cage stain remover with vinegar in. Hope this helps.

They usually run off into their hidey's and eat lol. Their pee pads look like a massacre after they have slopped red capsicum all over them lol. They have been dirt cheap lately though otherwise I would buy green.
