Hi All,

I'm just wondering if it is safe to use stain remover on fleece, safe for the guinea pigs and the fleece. Either the spray or the powder. Tomato stains are particularly stubborn. I have a new light pink fleece which is yellowed a bit with pee (poor colour choice maybe) and I'm not sure it will wash out. Piggies cage is being cleaned tomorrow and their dirty washing done so hopefully it will come out.

Also what are these hay bags everyone washes their fleece in. I saw them on a thread once but I forget where I saw it.

I got one of those hay bags from ebay. Dont know about stains. Vinegar works well for urine stains in cages so could be good for fleece too. Worth a try and defo piggie safe.

horse wash bags are great ... i would defo recommend you get one.
I use white vinegar in every fleece wash and 99% of stains always go.

I use vinegar in their wash already to get rid of piggie smells. Come to think of it i dont have urine stains on any of my fleece so maybe this fleese will be ok. Tomato stains on the other hand are not budging lol. I use vinegar for cleaning too. I'm paranoid about filling the new kidney up with chemicals. Baking soda is awesome for cleaning to. I'll have to look into one of these bags.

mine never have tomato so no advice on that one i am afraid ....

They are amazing. I just throw all the guinea pig washing into them, and then stop your machine getting clogged up with hair and hay.
I love mine.
