Hi can anyone tell me if it ok to stack cages, I mean more because of the weight rather than the light. I don't mean ferplast as I only have one of them. I am going to go buy some more if people think this is OK but wanted to check x

I'd say that it would be safer to stack cages on a stable shelf than on top of each other. The reason for this is that I find some cages can be awkward to access when stacked and you could bump lower cages and unsettle the cages on top. I'm not sure what you have, though. I personally stack C&C cages (custom built) no higher than 2 and I personally wouldn't stack pet shop cages because most of my cages require the top to be free.

Have you tried stacking the cages you're talking about without the pigs in it and then giving lower cages a good jiggle?
I'm not sure what materials your cages are made from but also be careful that weight on the top won't unstabalise the plastic clasps that hold the bottom of the bars together at the corners otherwise you'd be asking for a bit of a disaster.

120cm cages if they good sturdy ones you can stack them upto 3, It helps you you put some wood under each not a sheet two batons just takes some of the weight off and makes it less bouncy. 3 is the max you can stack, becomes unstable with any more :)
