Hey everyone!

So around a month ago I took my 1 year lady Yen to the vets as she had a lil blood in her poop and was squeaking during bowel movements. Luckily, after her having some meds (she had 10 day dose of Loxicom).

Now however, I’ve noticed my other lady Ciri is squeaking while pooping instead now? I feel a little upset to have to go vets again and spend a big chunk of money. I won’t have anything until Friday so I can’t take her till then honestly which is making me feel very guilty.

Obviously her health comes first, but is there anything I can do in the meantime to make her more comfortable? She is happy in her self, eating well and not bleeding at all.

Thank you

- Ellie

Hello. Could you call up the vets and explain the symptoms are the same as your other piggy had so could you have the medication without a visit? Also could you borrow the money from family until you get paid on Friday. Good luck.

I would try taking her to a vet...but one of my piggies goes through phases where she squeaks while pooping...we asked the vet about it when she went initially for her hair pulling (she has ovarian cysts) he checked her over and said it should pass on its own as she had no blood and would happily allow him to check her belly...we just try keep everything she could want in with her and give her extra cucumber and dipped all her veg in water and gave extra hay it seemed to loosen whatever it was giving her discomfort up and she was fine afterwards...if it flares up we check for blood and start up with everything again...but a vet visit is the best way forward to ensure there isn't anything there causing issues...I'm glad your other piggy made a fully recovery and wish you luck in getting your next piggy sorted...
