My two girls stayed at a rescue for boarding for 5 nights whilst we went away. Since we got them back around mid day, they have been squabbling in the cage. Bit of nose butting chasing and I’ve just seen some hair pulling! Is it because they’ve come back to their clean cage after being in a new environment?
 
Yes most likely - change in environment and the bedding now doesn’t smell of them.
do you have any used bedding still available that you can put back into the cage?

Thanks! No everything was thrown away last week before we went away as they are on Fitch paper bedding.

They are re-establishing their group; that comes with dominance behaviour. It is stronger when there are some underlying unresolved issues.
