Hi,
I am new to the forum, but not to piggies.
I have a bit of a problem with my 2 boars and am looking for advice.....last year I brought home a new friend for my older boar after his best friend died. I took Ritz to "choose" his friend and he didn't seem to have a problem with Parker when they met. However, Parker is now 13 months old and has started to harass Ritz. A lot of rumblestrutting and mounting. I want to keep them together and have done so far, but Ritz is recovering from 2 ops, is now 4 and quite a bit smaller than Parker. i am just worried that Parker is too rough for him, and don't want him to be miserable with this bullying which has gone on over the past couple of months.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Now that Pearker is fully grown he's obviously successfully challenged for dominance. What you are describing are the normal signs for that and are not exceeding parameters. Once Parker feels secure in the top spot he'll calm down more. Make sure you have everything in twos - food, bottles, huts etc. and as much space as possible.

Otherwise keep them separated by a mesh, so they can still interact with each other and have play time together. You might find, however, that at least one of the boys is moping.
