Sprouts

Can guinea pigs eat chia seed sprouts google said they can but I just want to be 100% sure and wondering if anyone feeds there guinea pigs them

I’ve never heard of chia seed sprouts, only bean sprouts.

Chia seed is safe for omnivorous rodents so I would assume the sprouts are safe as well. Just be warned if you’re sprouting them yourself—they tend to get sort of gooey when soaked in water.

I personally wouldn't feed them as the seeds could cause a problem if an unsprouted gets stuck in their teeth.
There are lots of other great things you can grow for them that are 100% safe.
