Hi everyone :)

I recently just purchased this spring salad mix. Is there any type of leafy green in here that piggies shouldn’t have? I know Spinach should only be fed occasionally. Besides that one type, are the other greens safe?

Thank you!

I tagged heatherose in she lives in america. She might have seen this before. I cant see what else is in it. And even then i probably wont recognise the names
I can post the ingredients later, for others who can’t see it, when I get home. Thank you so much for tagging her. :)

I feed my piggies spring mix like this a lot. I usually get just plain spring mix, not with the spinach mixed in. Mine have been eating it for over a year, so I guess it’s all ok. I alternate spring mix and romaine or green leaf lettuce.

The mix is fine to feed, looks great actually. The only lettuce to really avoid is iceberg and I can’t see it on the ingredients list.

I'm in Canada and my pigs eat spring mix... it should all be fine. You may want to limit spinach if your pigs have any urinary issues, as it's high in calcium, but otherwise it's a good way to get a nice mix of leafy greens without having to buy bales of different lettuces!
