Hi all
My 2 year old american guinea pig waldorf has developed something on his back that keeps bleeding, it looks like it may be some kind of ingrown hair Or scab from what I can make out, Iv read it could have something to do with mites which he had a while ago but haven’t been seen since, he has also got new hey recently which he loves. Any advice will be much appreciated.
Nick

A scab on the back could be caused by several things - mites, ingrown hair, cyst, etc.
He really does need to be vet checked so it can be properly diagnosed and treated.
