Spoilt Piggies

Seriously, these pigs have lived with us for four weeks now, and gone from living outside in a hutch to coming in, upgraded from a Midwest Habitat to a Ferplast 160, and now I've made them some fleece cage liners. When will this madness end? :D

NEVER! It will only get worse, trust me! :))

I totally get it. I spent today re-building the C&C cage which was 5x2 so that it's 5x3 - with a loft and moved the bed in the spare room to make space for them; spent don't know how much on 'stuff' and I nearly bought a dolls house for them the other day to use as a hidey (stopped myself just in time!). I go out in my dressing gown every morning to cut them some fresh grass, then end up late for work because it's oh so cute to sit in their run and hand feed them. I have officially lost my marbles....but I'm sooooo happy and I love my piggies.

Madness? Sounds like proper sane guinea oig care to me! I hand pick grass for my two every day and hand sew cage liners (cant work out how the h*** to thread my sewing machine).

We chose to keep these kittle sweeties in captivity the least that we can do is make their lives as wonderful as possible. It is amazing reading about the wonderful care received by guinea pigs on here.

The whole family adores them. I also do the early morning hand-picked grass thing, and fresh piggy salads twice a day. It probably won't be long before I'm building them a huge C&C. :D

@articfox34 I can see why you are piggy smitten!

@flowerfairy have you tried youtube there are some brilliant how to tutorials on there for threading sewing machines. My OH collects old machines and they rarely come with instructions, he often looks them up on youtube.

:love:Lovely veggies x I think it's great spoiling them well I don't think it's spoiling them it's just looking after them properly

Good plan. I always watch guinea pig vids on youtube ...

We started out with a 120 and I'm currently designing a c&c cage to take over half the play room!

Just accept your piggie lot in life and pamper them x
