Spike enjoying cuddles, but not from me!?

Hi everyone,
I wondered if anyone has a clue about this;
Spike my baby pig is very timid and a real wriggler. He isn't one for cuddles and wont sit for long on my knee before he runs away. He looks nervous and cant wait to go. Yesterday my friend came over, she has GP's too and wanted to cuddle mine. I gave her Spike, and to my amazement (and jealousy!) he stretched out on her knee, and went to sleep! He looked so content, the most relaxed i have ever seen him. He even wheeked! If it wasn't his tea time he **** would have stayed there. So why did he sit and enjoy cuddles from my friend, but doesn't want to sit with me? :( 8...:0
 
Patches is exactly the same! He adores my OH and will quite happily sleep on his lap, but with me, he tries jumping out of my arms even if I'm in the armchair and try to free jump out of it and will wriggle like mad! I guess maybe it's my smell?

My other 2 do enjoy cuddles with me though (although Choccy is getting to his teenage years, where he's too old for cuddles and likes to explore!)
 
I know it sounds silly, and i have done a thread about it too, but my piggies like me more/less at different times of my monthly cycle. *shrugs* Which i guess is to do with my smell.

Interesting, i will have to look out for this. Probably a hormone we release !
 
Thats what i concluded... However its said that male guinea pigs kept with female rabbits dont show the same interest when the female rabbit is in heat... so... *shrugs*

It got so bad last year, that when i got into their cage to clean it out, they would hump my leg! :x But this seems to have settled again now.
