Spent a wet afternoon revamping Spike and Peanut's home to make it more elderly piggy friendly. They have not been using the loft and as the ramp took up a lot of room I've removed it. Spike has been struggling a bit to jump into the hay boxes so the old loft floor is now a walk in hay container. They liked to sit under the loft and used it as a big hidey, it was half grid height which made changing the fleece awkward for me. I've heightened the floor now roof, added a roof over the hay tray and made a new fleece curtain. They are loving exploring and trying everything out. I was afraid this was going to upset them as they are both still ill and was prepared to put it back as it was but so far so good! The vet asked yesterday if they were pooing okay, these photos were taken 10 mins after they went into a completely clean cage, no problem in that department!

They are coming up for 5 @Sophie B they've slowed down now and no longer do zoomies so the 4 x 2 c&c is plenty big enough for them. Red and Brillo have their old 160 x 80 cage which is the minimum I would use for youngster boars.

I see your elderly residents approve of the adjustments - the piggy seal of approval! The highest complement!

Gorgeous piggies as always
