Sperm rod?

Apologies for the tmi photo, am I right in thinking this is a sperm rod I plucked from woodys neither regions? He was squeaking a bit so I put some towels down to monitor wees and poos (one week since he passed a stone) but he didn't pass any in an hour, that I could see, so I did a quick check and found this. He is currently on stone watch so I will be able to keep on top of this but is there any specific worries I should be keeping an eye on in terms of this? Tia

That is indeed a sperm rod, poor boy! It must have been very uncomfortable to remove and have it sitting in there.

Yes bless him he's going through the wars at the moment, luckily he didn't seem to mind me taking it out and it didn't seem too stuck or in there for too long. He is obviously also on metacam so that would've helped him be less uncomfortable! I have antibiotics on hand if he shows any sign of infection but I will consult my vet first if that arises
