Specialist vet recommendations

Our poor boy Carlo has had a whole bunch of problems over the past month or so and the general practice where he usually gets seen have said they’ve exhausted the options available to them and have recommended seeing a specialist
The vets are contacting me some point later today with some names/numbers but was wondering if anyone can recommend any specialists near Staffordshire? Only problem is I don’t drive so the taxi there/back is an added cost so the more local to the Cannock area the better

Have you tried putting your postcode into the Vet locator list at the top of the page in the green bar.
That will come up with all of the Forum recommended vets - hopefully you can find one nearby.

You are close to the RSPCA Walsall and in the area some of their fosterers live. Perhaps you can contact them? They are very busy though (all volunteer run), so they usually don't come back quickly.

Hello, I’m not sure how easy it is for you to get to Telford (Shifnal), but they have an exotics specialist at Taylor and Marshall. I’ve used them for my piggies (I’m London but my mum is Telford so when they go on their ‘holiday’ they get their checkups there). My sister uses them for her piggies as well. If you can get to them, they might be worth a call?
