Space Issues

on the weekend I am planning on bonding my 2 boar guinea pigs but my only problem is the space they would need to prevent fighting. Gizmo is living in a 2x4 C&c cage and Bolt is living in a pets at home 120 cage ( got him last Friday so only temp cage ) what size cage would you recommend for the pair? I am really limited on space but want the best for my boys.

I was thinking maybe making another 2x4 C&c cage and moving them together to make and L shape? Would that be okay ?

Or maybe i could make a 3x4 and attach it to the 2x4 to make a huge 5x4 cage ? This would literally take up my whole bedroom!

In gizmos 2x4 I use 2mm correx and vinyl tiles and I really don't get on with it so do you have any suggestions what I could you for the base that's not correx or vinyl tiles? Thanks

L shape would work fine.You could use lino.I use a ground sheet then towel then fleece

You only tehnically need a 2x4 cage for 2 boars, so if you can connect two 2x4 cages into an L-shape that should be more than. Enough space.
