Hi and welcome

No that is not normal and should be vet checked in case it is an infection in the reproductive tract.

Hi

Sight unseen and without access to your guinea pig I cannot comment on whether you are dealing with something minor or a potentially fatal womb infection if it is not treated soon enough.

Not always. And quite a few questions on here have turned out to be rather the start of an infection of the womb lining (pyometra) so if the swelling is not going down again within 24 hours please see a vet.
