Sow (13 weeks) strange behaviour?

Hello,

Would someone be able to advise... we have a 13 week old sow who is lifting her bottom into the air and vibrating (quite a low vibration) whenever we stroke her in the cage.I don't think it's rumblestrutting as she is not moving and wiggling her bottom as she does it.

It's only when I stroke her?!?

I'm not sure it's a purr, it looks like she is lifting her bum in the air and then a low vibration.

Any ideas of what this might mean?

I'm baffled!

Not that i've seen inbreeding, just waving her botty in the air and displaying it almost! bless!
 
Mine sometimes go through funny stages like this when they are in season. It's a bit gross really :))
 
She is probably in season! Is she your only piggy or has she got a companion?
 
She has a companion called daisy mae, she just keeps looking at her funny and running in the other direction lol! Luna has stopped waving her botty in the air now though, I'm thinking it must be something she does when she's in season... just wasn't expecting it! it looks quite funny! x
