i hope you all dont mind these questions but my question is i just put the guinea's out side a couple of months ago after been inside, and i plan on leaving them outside in there new hutch a double rabbit shack hutch now what i want to know is what you all use for covering you hutch up agains the wind/rain cold etc i'm looking at the hutch covers at the mo but wondered what you all use thanx again kelly.

hi i dont use hutch covers i have for my rabbits tarpoling and fo my guinea pigs i just went to the diy store and got some plastic sheets that will cover hutch and put them on just add a couple of nails to top and it stay there...and its cheaper

i use tarpole b&q had one in pack £3.99 last week i used it last night heavy rain my top comes of my hutch so tucked it in all at back and let it hang down front so there was still circlelation of air going in

I also have a tarpaulin to cover my hutches. To keep the heat in in the winter I have put thick layers of cardboard under it as insulation mostly round the bedroom.

Just Tarpaulin, if the weather is warm. under that I put either an old duvet cover, or an old sleeping bag, if it is chillier. Both held down with a couple of bricks, then folded up in the morning. Much cheaper than hutch huggers. xx
