Sore on leg.

It’s like a scab but is coming out of his skin. It’s crusty and sticking straight out , were currently at the vet now. But wanted to see if there’s any advice what it could be ..?

Upon inspection, my vet stated it could either be an ingrown hair follicle or Trichosolliculoma, which both were harmless and were now getting the scans tested.
