Tonight after our third cage cleaning of the week we had our monthly mail trimming done. As I was trimming her front nails I discovered sores that look like calluses or something. I need help on what to do I cant call to get I to a vet until monday morning. I use paper bedding I clean her cage three times a week I always keep the floor clean for her running around outside the cage. Idk how it happened or what caused it i am worried it cold be bumble foot. Someone please give me advice I'm trying not to freak out as it's the weekend and I cant call to get her into a vet u til monday. Please help Nyx and i. Below I gave pictures in case anyone has seen this before on their babys

Please don’t worry. It looks like foot spurs - they are harmless but can be removed by a vet if they get big, get caught in bedding etc, otherwise you don’t need to do anything With them
its definitely not bumblefoot which is red, open wounds

Hi

These are the start of very common, harmless foor spurs - growths of dead skin.

Please leave be unless spurs are really sticking out to the sides and are at risk of catching and badly ripping open live skin. In this case, best see a vet for safely cutting off the horny skin without getting too close to still live skin. Cutting into live skin is very painful and can seriously cripple a piggy. About a quarter of piggies will delevop spurs under their front feet. They always grow on the sides of the pads while bumblefoot (pododermatitis) does so in the middle of the pads with firstly defined reddish patches and then in the more advanced stage open sores that look nothing like spurs. ;)
