Does anyone have songs their guinea pigs like? When my son was a baby there were several songs he loved, even though I'm not a great singer. I'm trying find a quiet song the piggies like. Just getting quizzical looks so far!
 
I sing I can't help falling in love with you by Elvis and true colours mostly because these are amongst the few songs I know all the words too. I sing a few folk songs that my mum used to sing with me when I was little as well but I don't know what they're called. I find it helps with the taming process if you sit with them and sing while they are getting their veggies because it helps them to get used to hearing your voice (not that there is any science to back this up) my boys love singing now and one will even squeak along if I sing to him during lap time.
 
Lovely song choices. Just tried the Presley one and got a don't wake us up face. Will try another time.
 
I can't sing to save my life! However, I get Alexa to play bird song in the piggy room and it seems to have a calming effect on them.

I did wonder if this is because the birdies are all singing away happily, i know that a lot of prey animals will react to birds giving a warning call when they are disturbed by a predator.

I sing the song Bonny and Clyde to my boys Benny and Clive using their names. They are not impressed unless I’m approaching with a handful of veg. I get more enjoyment out of it than they do 🥴
