Something wrong with his mouth

Hello, I am new here, and I have something that I'm not sure if its a problem or not. My piggy has something stuck between his top front teeth, and my sister had told me that it was food. He also has something right between his nose and lips. It looks kinda like a scab, but I'm also not sure of that. I just want to make sure that he is healthy and if I should be worried about this or not.

I cannot comment further without a picture but any scabs on lips could be lip infection (cheilitis) and should be seen by a vet, as severe cheilitis can kill. Without a picture I simply cannot even guess at the nature of the scab so I have to alert you to the potential worst case scenario.

If in any doubt, please contact your vets and if necessary send them a picture. The vet may also be able to remove any stuck food for you.
