I was recently on vacation for 4 days and had my neighbours watching over my guinea pigs, but when I returned today there was a problem with one of my female guinea pigs. Her right hind leg was being dragged and she put her weight on her other side. Her leg was fine before I left for vacation. I'm assuming that my neighbour must have dropped her..
She still eats and drinks, but does not like being touched or lifted up

I'll try going to the vet tomorrow, but I'd still like to know what you guys might think the problem is.. Is the leg broken or something?

Here is a video showing her limp:

Poor piggy. You need to see a vet as soon as possible as her leg is clearly injured and must be excruciatingly painful.

Oh bless, what a shock for you. Did your neighbour say if anything happened?
Keep your piggy comfortable as possible, ensuring hay, food and water is close by so they don't have to walk, stretch but also feeling safe so a cardboard box would be a good idea. You can often tell of an injury of that kind because the leg will be warm/hot - it's the blood going to the affected area to repair itself but to be honest only a vet can advise if it's broken or a sprain.

Please have her see asap! I she is clearly unable to put any weight on hher leg and must be in excruciating pain. It looks rather broken.

Please keep her as comfy but confined as possible. Make sure that she has hay,, water and food close by and that you clean out the area he is in twice daily. Ask your neighbours whether she was dropped and how long ago that has been.

Find better carers for the next time because you should have been notified straight away. :(

The vet said it was just an inflammation in her leg and gave me a few syringes that I have to feed her once a day, hopefully it will turn out okay :)

Did the vet give her any painkillers? If not then I would ring and ask for some. Hope her leg gets better soon x

Have you been given Loxicom?
I was given that for Jemimah after her op for inflammation and pain but she needed a top up of painkillers as well.
Glad it’s nothing serious with your girl.
Hope all heals well.
