She is a coronet. Hence her long hair. I have to cut her hair this weekend so it will make her seem smaller afterwards lol. Peter is only 2.5yrs old
 
She's beautiful! I remember posting a picture on here of my then 4 year old with 2 rexes and lots of comments saying are those pigs huge? Or is that child very small?!

do you know her weight in pounds and ounces? ( sorry grams are a no go for me)

My benson is just a smidgen under 3lb. I wonder if your piggy is about the same?
 
I haven't weighed her. I know she is a very healthy weight regardless. She just reached her full grown size. I suspect she is maybe 2lbs.
 
Ah! She sure is a beautiful looking piggy. I'm very smitten with all these gorgeous long haired piggies on the forum and i think i would like to have one one day.

My rex is nice and fuzzy meantime.

Weighing is a great way to keep an eye on health - one a week for healthy pigs, every day for poorly ones.

She looks in fine fettle though :love::love:
 
She is very healthy. She enjoys her sleep too. I even have a chirper too. 3am she breaks into song (she uses different pitches). It's awesome

And def agreeing with @tabelmabel. Weighing your piggy weekly is really important as it can help you to see if something is wrong!

Oh...my...gosh...ok, whenever I'm sad or grouchy or sick, I'm coming back to this thread because that is AWESOME! How old is your boy and the piggy? They look like good ol' friends!

Peter is 2.5yrs old. Him and Jewel are buddies. She loves him and he loves her. Jewel is roughly around 6months old as she just reached her full grown size maybe 2-3weeks ago. But yes they have a connection.
 
Those photos are very precious. You can see the bond. Gorgeous. :luv:
