Hello guys! There is something black on my guinea pig’s nose. I noticed it about a week ago and thought it must have been something dirty. However, today I realized it had gotten bigger and I took a closer look. I tried to get it off her nose gently, but it seems like it’s stuck to her nose... I’m not sure what it is and don’t know if I should be worried or not.

I’m not sure what that is. I wouldn’t pull at it. Does it appear like something stuck in her fur? I’d get her checked out I think.

I’m actually not too sure if it is stuck to her fur or her skin. She keeps moving for me to take a closer look at it. And yeah, I should probably check out a vet. Tysm for the tip!

A scab or a skin growth of some kind? Definitely worth a vet check. Please let us know what they find, I'm curious! All the best!

Might be worth gently removing with tweezers and applying Johnson's small animal soothing cream (or similar) to the areas with a cotton bud

We don't advocate home treatments/remedies on this forum. It could be very painful for the piggy and could make matters worse. We will always recommend seeing a vet for a diagnosis.
