Hello

I currently have 3 piggies, 1 neutered male, Nugget, roughly about a year old maybe slightly younger and 2 female sisters, Speedy & Scruffy who are roughly 2 years old, more likely to be slightly older than 2, all living together in a trio very happily.

I am thinking of re-homing another piggy, I would like it to be a female and I would preferably like to get a youngish girlie as my 2 girlies are older and I'm thinking of the inevitable, in years to come I hope, and Nugget being left alone :(
I have a few queries: :red

How many females can live with a neutered male?
If I already have a happy trio should I rock the boat?
Is my set up big enough?, 6ft long x 56inches (at it's widest point)

Thanks all :)

Rock, Rock the boat... don't tip the boat over :))! Sorry that song totally jumped into my head.

I know it can be done... maybe better with a baby, seems to be more accepted by sows.. I think.

Wiebke has done it loads and never had a problem. I think she has 7 girls and a boy, most of the piggies have been introduced after the established group. Hopefully she'll be on later and comment, but it is possible.

Yes it's big enough... I believe, 30 x 76 " is the size for 4... if I'm right your's 72" x 56"... which is plenty.

Link for cage sizes...
