This is probably really stupid, but here goes!
I am beginning to make some of my own guinea pig toys and I was wondering if untreated softwoods were ok for chew toys.
I know that you can’t use it for bedding, but I have a load of offcuts of untreated pine and was hoping that you could use them for chew toys.
If not, what are the best woods to use?
Also, on a completely unrelated note, can I put shells in with the pigs as decoration? I’m doing a summer themed cage at the moment.
