Sandy finished antiobiotics 6 days ago. Penny just started potassium citrate last week. Not sure if it's related to either of those changes, but at least one of my girls has soft poos. Was cleaning out the cage tonight and saw some. Then, saw a few fresh soft poos right after cage cleaning. (Not watery, just soft). Haven't worked out which of my two girls it is yet, but I'm guessing it's Sandy since she was the one on the antibiotic. She's been on probiotic since she started the antibiotic and I continued the probiotic even after the antibiotic was done just in case. This is the first sign of soft poos although Sandy had small poos yesterday. I stopped all fresh veg tonight and will continue with weighing. So far, both girls weights are stable. Vet is not open tonight, but will call tomorrow for advice. I just wish they were healthy. I get so scared and sad when they're sick. :(

I think just keep them off veg and start introducing slowly once their poos have been normal for at least 24 hours. Coriander and a small slice of pepper are good starts. If it persists then you will need to have them checked out.

Hope they’re okay soon.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. This morning I did not see any soft poos in the cage. Hopefully, that means they are on the mend. If it persists, will definitely call the vet. Thanks again!

Poos are definitely firming up. Will wait on veg for now. Perhaps introduce slowly with a small bit of veg tonight if their poos still are looking better.

They need to be back to normal for at least 24 hours before you can introduce veg again.

Thanks for the advice. I'm keeping an eye on the timeframe and tonight would be 48 hours. Was also advised by my vet to re-start veg, but I'm nervous about it so will be starting with a small amount. Fingers crossed all goes well!
