I am currently sat on the settee with Edward and Elizabeth. I’ve noticed that Edward keeps farting and has done a couple of soft (not watery) poos.

I started a thread earlier today as both him and Elizabeth are off their veggies Not eating vegetables

Should I be concerned? I’m worried about bloat

The soft poos could be a gut disturbance. How long have they not been eating veg? Then again remember poop output is 1-2 days behind. I’m not sure what to suggest other than cut out veg altogether (if you haven’t already) and see if the poo normalises.

Oh dear, hopefully they just overdid the Christmas veg, or possibly ate a bit of veg didnt agree with them... are they still eating hay and pellets? Weigh daily and cut out the veg for a few days as suggested above, and keep an eye on the poops. Maybe a probiotic might help stabilise things too? Often piggies are quite good at knowing when to stop the veg and focus on the hay to fend off a tummy upset, so hopefully it will settle.
Just keep an eye on them for now, but if they seem in any pain or the tummy feels hard then it could be the start of bloat and that needs the vet as an emergency of course.
I also wonder about Edward's age, if perhaps from what you describe with the farts and soft poops he may be showing some early signs of developing impaction, where the bum muscles get a bit loose in boars so they get smelly caecotrophs stuck sometimes?
Ollie has mild impaction, he usually clears it himself with a little dance and some bum cleaning, but it does look like a stinky blob of soft poops and smell like nasty cabbage farts when he unblocks his bum!
Hope Edward and Elizabeth are ok x

Good news eating hay and pellets . . And botty. . . :hmm: :hmm: hope that continues and it was a piggie bug or ssomething they eaten and upset tummies

I hope that the flatulence and soft poops improve after a day or 2 of dry diet. You will, of course, have to listen to their complaints, suffer their soulful eyes and deal with the begging techniques that they will use to try to get you to hand over a bit of lettuce :lol!: Stay strong and things should improve.

You know piggies so well. . It's emotional blackmail

I love them. . Crispy with hot butter . .
Once had to clean and cross enough for 200 people . . My brother was a chef and I loved to help. . Tho that day sprouts were not my fav. :cen:

Eww I can’t stand them to be honest although I’d prefer them crispy if I has to eat them

Braised with garlic, bacon, white wine, and cream with a little bit of melted brie to really maximise that indulgence! I guess they don't really resemble sprouts any more though... :hmm:
Yes and then as a final touch before eating you take the sprout out....perfect 😁😁
