Hi peeps. I know I ask alot of questions. But I'm dreadfully worried about my beautiful Gaga.
Health wise she is fine.:)
As you all know a while back I put her in with Boofle and Bee, as Tam had been put outside for going to far with Boofle and attacking her, to the point of walking around with her hair in her mouth.
Now as Boofle was such a kind mannered piggly I decided to put her and Bee with Gaga, who is the softest piggly ever. Such a kind mannered little lady. And she hardly ever says a word. Love her little heart.
I mentioned the other day that Boofs and Bee had barbered her, which got my back up, but these things happen. Now this morning I noticed Boofs squaring up to Gaga, shaking her bottom, and being nasty. But not in a biting kind of way. I feel so sorry for Gaga, shes had a bad run of luck with Tam, and now Boofs and Bee. Hub has suggested that when hes built some more hutches, (hes buying loads of wood, and just making a load apparently.lol)that we put boofs and bee in one and bumble(my boar)in another and maybe keep Gaga on her own. Id rather she had a freind but its just choosing a piggly that has the same temprement as her, and thats going to be hard, as I cant ask a piggly if they are kind and nice and will love my baby. I just dont know what to do.
I have heard that long haired pigglies shouldnt really be outside(cant remember where from)
Please help.x>>

does she seem unhappy? All my boys do this to one another, bum waggling and teeth chattering and even bits of chasing and have small fallouts at time, but tbh I think it's just natural and there's always going to be some piggies more dominant than others, if she's eating and doesn't seem depressed I would just let them get on with it, the other girls are quite young aren't they so maybe they'll be better when they get older?

Yeah shes eating well. But doesnt seem very happy. Shes not at all vocal, I hear the odd squeek, but Ive never actually heard her wheek. Id have her out and about all day like a puppy if I could. The way she looks up at me when I'm talking to them. Shes completly still, staring at me. Loves her dearly I do

Perhaps your placing your human emotions onto your pigs. I do too, I think we all do sometimes but it is perfectly normal dominance and until its settle your liking to see this behaviour.

My Wilma who is a little wick at time looks like such innocence her and Fred go around bum kicking each other, deciding what belongs to who but yet you will quite often find them next to each other or popcorning. Its just how piggies are. Infact just the other day Wilma was garding the hayloft, Fred barged right past :)).

I would only be concerned if she was visibly unhappy, not allowed to eat in resulting in losing weight.

Are you sure that one of the other girls is not in season?

If you are so worried that Gaga is bullied, I would recommend to make the litmus test - separate Gaga and see whether she noticeably perks up within a few hours, or not. Then you will know for sure!

If you want to find her a suitable friend, I would be looking for a gentle, laid back neutered boar.

Thats what I was thinking Weibke. I love Laurel from Crawley. He looks just so perfect for her. Hubby knows I want another.

I'm wundering if its a good idea to try Boofs and Bee with Tam outside. Would she still be likely to go for Boofs. I will admit she has changed for the better since shes been on her own. Shes not so wriggly and lets me pick her up. Something she didnt do before. I'm not still confident on some aspects of my pigglys. So dont know what to do.
