So New Guinea pig shed built. All new items inside. Put all 3 together and at first all great. Eating together and popping around then older piggie started grumbling and being really nasty to the babies, who I must say love each other.
We've had to take pickle out. Don't know what to do. Help please x

Oh no I'm so sorry, we've all got to this point, the only thing to change is there living accommodation. The only think of is moving her indoors or out in the shed in a hutch.
You'll have to watch her because of having no friend, but with all the others close she should be OK. I wonder if putting her near the main hutch for maybe a couple of weeks she may may go back in.
Is there any way of putting her in the main hutch & make sure one of the ramps is blocked off. That may calm her down.

It's a brand new home to them, and every time they change "homes" the dominance issues need to be sorted out all over again.

I'm going to tag @Wiebke because she could explain it far better than I can, but I suspect that whatever is going on could be perfectly normal for having moved homes.

They not been together before. Pickle lost her companion and we bought 2 more who have been in a separate cage next to her. Now the shed is finished we thought we'd introduce them. I just don't want her to fight with the young ones.

With my 4 girls when we moved them we had a good hour of grumbling bickering while they sorted out the dominace in the group again. I would leave them together and just let them settle in and sort out their issues.

Thank you all for your advice. The girls seem to be happy together now. I guess I was being impatient. The shed is looking fab. Heating, lighting and a fan. Hubby's next rest days he will attach the outside hutch.
