When I adopted Bridget she was very shy and would always run and hide whenever I came anywhere near her. As she was nearly six I did wonder if her behaviour would ever change. With alot of perseverance and the fact that she has been indoors all winter she has become very tame indeed and loves her cuddles even wheeking whenever she is put back into the cage, as much as to say "hey i am not ready to go back yet"!
This saturday though when I came back from a friends house the dog greeted me and when I stooped to say "hello and how are you then mummys good boy" bridget came hurtling out of her house wheeking at the top of her voice, she didn't react until she heard my voice which she obviously recognised....now how sweet is that?! It was as if she was saying "yay mummys home"!
