I've given up with my fleece liners, twice now they've stopped the washer from spinning properly and hubby isn't amused.
Plus it's too much hassle keep having to change them every 3-4 days because they smell and are soaked in pee.

So I decided to try bedmax as they sell it in my local pet shop.
What can I say! So far so good.
I was expecting them to smell strong of pine but because they are kiln dried they hardly smell at all. One thing is though that the flakes do seem hard and I worried about there feet but they've been popcorning in the cage just fine.
If all continues well then I will use this bale up and get the littlemax which is finer and softer.

Here are some pics

aww how cute :-) bedmax are good shavings even some ratty folk swear by them as bedding! They must be good for ratty folk to like them as shavings are usually a big no no!

Yeh well I also have ratties too and there on finacard, I'm very tempted to try them on bedmax but if I do it will be the littlemax as ratties feet are even smaller and they've been kept on soft finacard.

its bedmax that the ratty folk love :-) mine are on it at present if I'm honst :-) doesnt seem to bother them as they dont spend much time on their base in my set up :D usually snoozing away in their hammocks.

Yeh I know what you mean, my lot love snoozing and peeing in there hammocks :) lol
