Bliss
Junior Guinea Pig
So I've had my piggy a little while now but I'm still trying to figure out what on earth he likes and what he doesn't. He really is confusing me. I'll try and describe and see if you can help me.
- He has a big soft bed that I brought him and when he jumps in it, he starts rolling round, jumping (which LOOKS like popcorning), giving really long drawn out rumbles and vibrating. If I stroke him whilst he's in there he does this even more. Whenever he is on something soft, this is what he does. I've read mixed things about these reactions.
- When giving him his veggies, I place the veg on his shelf and he obviously gets very excited. I stroke him whilst he's munching away and he gives another long purring noise which I'm thinking means he's happy. I hope that's the case. There's no vibration this time though.
- Next thing is when I'm stroking him. He lays down flat under my hand when I start stroking him (I think it's called pancaking) and not long after starts making little squeaky noises. But he doesn't try to move away or anything, just seems happy stretched out. But then I've read that the squeaky noises can mean he's whining.
I'm really trying to figure out my little piggy but there's so many different opinions! The one that is really confusing me is the bed noise, because I thought he liked it as he popcorns and rolls around all over the place! But then I heard that the long rumbling noise and vibrating is a bad thing...
Can anyone help?
