I bought one Snugglesafe a couple of weeks ago for my piggies Umbrella and Parasol to keep them warm and snug during the cold snap.

I just took delivery of 3 other Snugglesafe to keep my other three hutches warm overnight. However, during the second night of heating just two at 5 minutes each ... one after the other in the microwave ... my microwave has over-heated and basically "packed up". :(:{

I am really upset - as apart from just paying £45.00 for three new Snugglesafe, my Panasonic which is a really nice microwave seems to have broken and that cost me over £250 when I originally bought it.

My hubby isn't gonna be very happy when I tell him and to be honest I am really disappointed and will be contacting the manufacturer of Snugglesafe.

Yikes! That's not good :(

I too heat one after the other (so 12 mins in total) and we've been okay, so far at least :{. Is your microwave under warranty at all?

That doesn't sound good :( I have never had a problem with mine and heat mine one after the other too. Was there any residue in the microwave as this can cause the snugglesafes to damage too xx

That isn't good - but I'd suspect trouble with the microwave, not the Snugglesafe. Did the heatpads warm up ok?

Sorry to hear that but i cant really see how this is the snuggle safes fault? You say the microwave over heated?

Sounds as if it is the microwave, not the snugglesafes. I heat 3 all after one another and fingers crossed while saying this, have had no trouble. How long have you had your microwave? I would be tempted to take it back, as it is "not up to the job it was intended for". Just quote this if you do take it back.

Thanks everyone.
The Snugglesafe was cold but the microwave was really hot. It may just have been concidence that I recently bought the Snugglesafe - it could have just been my microwave packed up.
I am going to try the Snugglesafe that didn't heat up in the work microwave ....ssshhh, don't tell anyone ... and see what happens. rolleyes

It was upsetting though as I thought it was my fault for pampering my piggies too much!

My microwave did the same yesterday, but with chilli rather than a snuggle safe! Chilli was cold, microwave was hot... sigh. Another expense!
