Snuggle safe pad and vet bed

Hi there,
How do you use your snuggle safe pad... I’ve got my girls on vet bed. Unsure where to put it!? Undone it?

Yeah they are on the thin side so if they were scorching I’ll wrap on a fleece..

You can buy fleecy snuggle safe covers off eBay if you're not handy with a sewing machine. You can then pop them in the microwave with the cover on and then straight in your hutch/cage.

Ive just bought vet bed and put it in the hutch, I’ve put just newspaper underneath, I wondered if that’s gonna be ok or do I need to get puppy pads too?

Also I put their food out last night on top of the vet bedding and they didn’t touch it- not sure if I should put their food on a plate instead? Probably a silly question!
