Well that's it, I have decided after a few tries of putting all 3 boars back together to call it a day and have them separated for good it just doesn't work. As soon as I put Furry in the cage Snowy takes a lunge for him :(

I feel sad for Furry on his own but he does seem to be coping with it absolutely fine.

I think that Furry is happy about not being bullied anymore. As long as he's right next to his brothers, he should be OK.

Aww, at least you've tried and that's all you can do. Pointless if one or the other is going to keep lunging and fighting, just makes it worse all round.

Good luck to Fluffy though, aww. :)

is this a common problem with boars? the fighting and seperating

I believe it can be but I had 3 brothers together which apparently is a recipe for disaster. I now have 2 together who share the same bed, eat out of the same bowl, use the same water bottle and have no problems whatsoever.

So no it's not always a problem to have 2 boars together. Also I think an older boar bonds better with a younger one. All mine are going through the adolescent stroppy phase at the same time too so again it can be a nightmare....
