Snowflake Softchip Bedding, How Deep Of A Layer?

Got some newspaper lining the correx, just wondering how deep of a layer of snowflake softchip we need? Is 1 inch enough of should I double it?

I use hemparade bedding from zooplus in their 32 litre under bed storage box, in their cat litter tray and in their grow tray! All these have a layer of just under an inch with masses of hay on top. It works just fine. An inch sounds goood to me. Have a look on youtube there are some great videos about bedding. Piggiepigligs being one of my faves.

I'm quite generous with my snowflake, I have it 2-3" deep then flatten it with a dust pan to make it easier to walk on.

I don't use Snowflake brand, but I do at least 5cm (2"). A good depth is more than twice as good as a thin layer.

Yeah we soon noticed 1 inch wasn't really enough, so went with about 2 inches, thanks for the help.
