Just got two sows today, they both are pretty skittish but they have eaten out my hand / let me pet to some extend. I was letting one sniff my hand and then she started nibbling? Wasn’t really a bite, it was soft. What does this mean? my hands were clean btw

It just means they are being inquisitive and trust you. My pigs do the same, either a lick or a nibble and as long as it doesn't hurt you its fine. As they are new sows its a positive sign. What are their names?

Congrats on your new arrivals! Completely normal behaviour :) as said above it is then being inquisitive and seeing what is been held out to them
