i cant post videos on here but as i walk past my guinea pigs cage every so often i hear a sneeze. i’ve been telling my mum that we need to take them to the vet but she is unsure , she says things like ‘but they’re full off energy’ and ‘it’s not a cough it’s a sneeze they probably have something up there nose’
i’m unsure on why she won’t allow us to take them to the vet but if anyone could leave reasons i could show her below to convince her that would be much appreciated:)

The odd sneeze can be because of dust from hay or bedding being in their airways, or because they have narrow airways, eating too fast can cause them to cough.
However, if you have health concerns - if it is excessive sneezing coming in fits or going on for a long period, with other symptoms, then you just take them to a vet. A uri is a serious condition which needs to be checked out and treated.
if you are concerned they are unwell, then please switch from routine weekly weighing to daily weighing so you can step in and syringe feed while waiting to see a vet if there is weight loss occurring
